CLUBS ARE BACK - SAME AWESOME CLUBS IN A NEW SPOT - THE CLUB YARD!
THE CLUB YARD IS LOCATED AT THE OUTDOOR CLASSROOM!
Our clubs were created with one very important person in mind: the child who wants something different.
The child who may not want to spend every recess playing kickball or joining a team sport. The child who would rather build, draw, create, solve, read, imagine, make something with their hands, or simply sit beside a friend and see where an idea takes them.
These clubs give our students a space to do exactly that.
Throughout so much of their school day, children are given instructions, schedules, assignments, and expectations. Our clubs offer something different — a chance for them to lead. To decide what they want to build. What they want to draw. What game they want to play. What character they want to invent. What problem they want to solve. What happens next.
There is no perfect outcome and no single right answer.
They create the space. They create the art. They create the story. They create the possibilities.
And last year, the clubs created at Marblehead were even recognized by the 4th District PTA — something we are incredibly proud of, because these programs are built from the heart by parents who simply saw an opportunity to give kids another way to belong, connect, and thrive.
Now that spirit continues at Lobo.

Every one of these clubs is parent-created and parent-led. The PTA helps support the clubs with materials and resources when possible, but the hours of planning, setting up, organizing, encouraging students, cleaning up, and often purchasing additional supplies are donated by some truly incredible parents.
They show up because they believe these spaces matter.
They believe creativity matters.
They believe play matters.
They believe every child deserves a place where they can feel like, “Yep. This is for me.”And some of the best ideas haven’t even been created yet.
If you have a passion, hobby, talent, profession, or just a fun idea that you think our students would love, you could create the next Lobo club. You don’t need to be an expert. You just need an idea, a little enthusiasm, and a willingness to share it with our kids. We’ll help you figure out the rest.

Because of the size of our school, clubs will be organized by grade level and recess times so students have the opportunity to participate without overcrowding.
Club schedules will be shared here, on posters around campus, and through daily school announcements, so encourage your Dolphin to keep an eye — and an ear — out for their day and time.

"Calling all builders! The Master Builders Lego Club is a place where kids can dig into bins of bricks, build something completely their own, collaborate with friends, and simply enjoy the process of creating.
Lego building is about so much more than making cool structures. It helps strengthen problem-solving, spatial awareness, patience, focus, planning, and creative thinking — while also giving kids a calming, hands-on outlet to slow down, concentrate, and let their imaginations take over.
Whether they’re building a city, spaceship, creature, tower, vehicle, or something no one has ever seen before, there are no limits here.
Join us every Tuesday in The Club Yard and look for the Club Yard flag flying high!
Donations of Lego bricks are always appreciated. Drop off in the office.

Welcome to the ultimate kid space! The Play Creators Club is a little bit of everything — and that’s exactly what makes it so much fun.
Each week brings something different. Kids might create colorful friendship bracelets, dive into seasonal and holiday-inspired art projects, challenge themselves with brain teasers and puzzles, play retro-style board games, or head outside for lawn games with friends.
This club is all about giving kids the freedom to create, explore, think, play, laugh, and connect in whatever way speaks to them that day.
There’s always something new to discover, make, solve, or play.
Anything is possible at The Play Creators Club.

Meeting Time: THURSDAYS AT THE CLUB YARD
Calling all illustrators, artists, storytellers, doodlers, and comic book lovers — this club is for you!
At The Comicullators, kids get the chance to bring their imagination to life. Write your own story. Design your characters. Create the hero, the villain, the sidekick, the monster, the world — whatever lives inside your imagination.
Students can experiment with different art materials, practice new drawing techniques, develop their own style, and simply draw to their heart’s content.
We’ll also work together on a collective Comicullators coloring book, featuring artwork created by club members that will be printed so students can take home a piece of everyone’s creativity.
And when you need a little inspiration? Head into our comic book reading tent, grab a comic or graphic novel, and escape into the adventures of your favorite characters.
